The anniversary edition received an improved aerodynamic kit. Up front, it gets enlarged air intakes and splitters, and on the rear, Lamborghini added an enlarged diffuser and expansive meshwork that further improves engine compartment ventilation.
Under the hood of the new 50° Anniversario special edition, Lamborghini has placed the same V-12 engine as in the standard Aventador, but with a new engine calibration. As a result, the output has been increased from the standard 700 ponies up to 720 horsepower.
As usual, the engine is mated to an extremely fast-shifting ISR transmission and will sprint the supercar from 0 to 60 mph in just 2.9 seconds and up to a top speed of 217 mph – these are the same numbers as the standard model, so don’t expect a huge boost from the extra 20 horses.
