Already one of the most futuristic production automobile designs in the world, the second generation GT bristles with advanced racecar features: a compact and gloriously powerful 3.5L/647 HP twin-turbocharged DOHC Ecoboost V-6 engine, Getrag 7-speed dual-clutch transmission, nestled into a carbon fiber monocoque with aluminum front and rear subframes wrapped in carbon fiber body panels; innovative “flying buttress” fuselage, active multi-mode suspension, Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires on 20-inch forged aluminum wheels, Brembo carbon-ceramic disc brakes, an automatically adjustable rear wing, and high-mounted center-exit titanium exhaust outlets.
